A Day of Memory and Love: In Memory of Matthew Thomas

I don't know how to type this without tears and they are flowing quite freely right now.

I am forever grateful to the Thomas family and for all they've done for me and my family in raising Honey to be the awesome guide that she is.

With much shock and intense sorrow, I share that Matthew Thomas went to be with the Lord yesterday, as he passed unexpectedly after a short illness and at such a young and tender age. I am posting pictures here of him and his family, from when they visited just two short weeks ago.

In Matthew's memory, donations for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind will be taken up for a sponsorship of a Golden Retreiver male puppy. He had begged to take one of the new goldens that are coming soon because he had loved Honey so much, but the Thomas family wasn't ready to commit just yet.
Libby Bagwell, the Area Coordinator for the NC area will raise the puppy and living in the same town as the Thomas family, they will be able to watch him grow and mature.

If you would like to contribute to the memory of this wonderful and dedicated young man, please make checks out to:

Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Inc.
~
And then mail these to:
Libby Bagwell
100 Hamburg Mtn. Rd.
Weaverville, NC 28787
~
Libby will be taking the donations and giving them to the Thomas Family to give to the Guide Dog Foundation for the sponsorship.
~
I urge and beg you to keep this family in your prayers and if you can, give a little something, even if it's just a small amount.
For more information on what is involved in puppy sponsorship, please read here:

I thank you all in advance for your consideration for a good cause.
~
May all be in peace at his rest with the Lord.
With lots of Love and Prayers to the Thomas family~
